Missionary Love is a private place for family, friends, and ward members to support a missionary. It is not affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Creating an account is free.
The manager
The person who creates a missionary profile is the manager. You agree to keep that profile accurate, to update it when something changes, and to post only what you are allowed to share. Details marked private stay with you. You approve who can follow, and you can remove someone.
Followers
You only see a missionary after the manager approves you. You can use the tools on that profile, including this week's tasks and the latest letter.
Mission+ is $39, once
Mission+ is one payment for one missionary, for their whole mission. It is not a subscription, and there is no fee per person. Anyone who follows that missionary can pay it. When it is paid, every follower on that profile gets the same unlock.
Paying does not make you the manager. It does not put you in the group chat. The manager still chooses who is invited.
What a free profile includes
- Photo, dates, and the countdown until they come home
- This week's tasks
- The latest letter
- The contact info the manager has shared
- Up to 8 followers
What the $39 adds
- Unlimited followers
- Funds Requests, so people can pledge and the manager can mark what has been collected
- A group chat, only for the people the manager invites
- Every letter and update, not just the latest
- All files the manager uploads
- In-app notes to the missionary, written in the app by the people who follow them
- Group letter builder for the profile manager, to approve those notes and put them on a printable group letter
- The transfer log, after the manager records an area
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Missionary Love does not store your card number. Money people send each other by Venmo or in cash is between them. The app only records the pledge and what the manager marks as collected.
